Natick Community Beautification
The club, in partnership with the Natick Center Cultural District (NCCD), is responsible for planting a number of downtown containers for the spring, summer, fall and winter seasons. Similar containers in front of the Morse Institute Library are also maintained.

Spring & Summer Containers
In the spring and summer, the containers are filled with a variety of seasonal annual flowers. Dead heading, fertilizing and watering continue throughout the summer.

Fall & Winter Containers
In the fall mums, asters and kale are planted. In November, winter greenery donated by members is arranged with colorful bows added for the holidays.

Seasonal Activities
The club participates in a variety of local seasonal activities throughout the year. In the spring members host informational & activity tables at the Natick Community Organic Farm's Maple Syrup Festival and at the town's Earth Day events. During the winter holiday season we participate in the Mass Horticulture Festival of Trees and decorate a room in the Wayside Inn.
Monthly Meetings
We are excited to invite the public to our meetings to share gardening information. The Club typically meets on a Wednesday or Thursday evening each month at the Morse Institute Library in the Lebowitz Meeting Hall. See the Calendar of Events page for date confirmation and monthly topic descriptions. A donation of $5 per meeting is suggested for non-members in attendance. Most meetings have a virtual attendance option with Zoom links provided to members.
Agenda:
6:30 pm | A social period with refreshments followed by announcements
7:00 pm | Featured speaker
Philanthropy
NGC gives to our community in keeping with our mission. We support local organizations that share our values; we participate in the National Garden Club's Plant-A-Tree Reforestation Program, and we provide scholarships to graduating high school seniors who plan to pursue education or work in a field related to gardening, horticulture or conservation.

Member Garden Visits
Members open their gardens to fellow garden club members during the gardening season. From flower gardens to vegetable gardens, we thank our member volunteers for their delightful, delicious, and generous hospitality.

Group Outings
Trips are held at various dates throughout the year and typically involve carpooling to a garden, park, or museum followed by lunch as a group. Past group outing destinations include: Lyman Estate, Olmsted Estate, and Fuller Gardens.

Natick Days
The Garden Club participates each year in Natick Days, an annual festival celebrating our community. Members host our booth and share their enthusiasm for gardening, answer questions about NGC, and invite others to join.

Annual Plant Sale
Typically held the first Sunday of June, this is the club's main fundraiser. Donated plants, mostly from members’ gardens, generate funds for club activities and philanthropic missions.
The annual sale features over 1000 plants that had been successful in Natick gardens at prices typically lower than local nurseries. The sale includes perennials, annuals, seedlings, trees and shrubs, container arrangements, indoor plants, and a raffle.
Natick's Art in Bloom
Natick Garden Club members design and display floral arrangements inspired by library books and artwork that is submitted by artists in the Natick Art Association. This event occurs every other year and is sponsored and supported by the Natick Garden Club, Natick Art Association, Morse Institute Library, Natick Center Cultural District and the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
